In light of the recent publication regarding SMD Baltic's activities, we deem it necessary to clearly express our position and categorically reject any insinuations of possible violations of sanctions or legal norms. SMD Baltic is a Latvian company operating in strict compliance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the regulations of the European Union. We have always adhered to and will continue to adhere to all sanction requirements and international standards to maintain a stable and lawful business environment.

SMD Baltic categorically rejects any allegations of sanction regime violations. Our company ceased all deliveries to Russia in the fall of 2022, immediately following the imposition of restrictions. SMD Baltic confirms that following the introduction of sanctions, all products manufactured by SMD Baltic, as well as components, are not supplied, exported, or re-exported directly or indirectly to Russia or Belarus. Furthermore, we have implemented comprehensive internal procedures to ensure full compliance with sanction requirements. All our clients are carefully vetted, and our operations are regularly audited by our partners who comply with international sanctions.

We assert that SMD Baltic is managed in accordance with European legal standards. Our company is not involved in any commercial activities that would contravene international sanctions or EU laws. We emphasize SMD Baltic's independence and its commitment to fulfilling its obligations to partners, employees, and all stakeholders within the EU.

We also wish to assure that any assumptions about SMD Baltic's involvement in activities that do not comply with legal norms and sanctions are unfounded. Our mission is to create safe and innovative technologies to support and develop the European economy. We remain open to constructive dialogue and are ready to provide all necessary documentation to reaffirm our legality and responsibility to European society.
